House approves Abbarno amendment on low-carbon fuel standard measure, HB 1091
During debate of House Bill 1091, that would enact a low-carbon fuel standard mandate in Washington state, Rep. Peter Abbarno offered Amendment 136. The amendment requires the Department of Ecology, in annual reports or other public documents or communications that refer to assumed public health benefits from the Clean Fuels Program, to distinguish between pollutant reductions from the program and those reductions attributable to vehicle emission standards. The amendment was adopted, 92-1.
