Statement from Rep. Peter Abbarno on governor’s state of the state address
Rep. Peter Abbarno, R-Centralia, released the following statement today after Governor Jay Inslee delivered his state of the state address.
“The governor’s state of the state address ignored many of his decade-long failures that his legislative Democratic majority have made worse. Like a skipping record, the state of Washington heard the governor’s same broken promises. Crime is at all-time high, cost of living is at an all-time high, student scores in reading and mathematics is at an all-time low, and this all happened under the watch of the governor and his majority party. Our families, our businesses, and our children are owed real solutions and policies that fix Washington.”
