Rep. Peter Abbarno calls for hearing on Initiative 2111 to prohibit state and local personal income taxes in Washington state
Assistant Floor Leader Peter Abbarno, R-Centralia, offered a motion today calling for a public hearing on Initiative 2111, which would prohibit state and local personal income taxes.
Article II, Section I of the Washington State Constitution states: “Initiative measures… shall take precedence over all other measures in the legislature except appropriation bills…”
