Capitol Report with Rep. Peter Abbarno: Priorities that matter

February 21, 2025

Rep. Peter Abbarno, House Republican Caucus Chair, continues to highlight the sharp divide between House Republicans and the majority party. He stresses the need to address Washington’s soaring crime rate, high gas prices, and worsening homelessness crisis — issues he says directly impact families across the state. Meanwhile, he criticizes the majority party for prioritizing efforts like redesigning the state flag and pushing tax increases that make life less affordable. Abbarno urges Washingtonians to stay engaged and advocate for policies that focus on real solutions.
