On Seattle’s KVI Radio, Rep. Peter Abbarno urges Gov. Bob Ferguson to veto Democrat tax increases

Speaking with KVI’s Phil Vandervort, House Republican Caucus Chair Peter Abbarno, R-Centralia, urged Gov. Bob Ferguson to veto record tax increases passed by majority Democrats in the 2025 session. Abbarno says if Ferguson vetoes the tax increases, he could become a hero to working class families who would struggle to make ends meet if they are signed into law. A veto would force the Legislature to return in special session to create a better budget without the harmful tax increases, said Abbarno.
