VIDEO | Rep. Peter Abbarno: We need to provide property tax relief for Washington families
Rep. Peter Abbarno, R-Chehalis, recently took to the House floor to advocate for an amendment to the state’s supplemental operating budget (Senate Bill 5998) that would have provided much-needed property tax relief for families across Washington.
During his speech, Abbarno emphasized the growing burden of property taxes and the importance of finding ways to keep homeownership affordable for all residents. Despite his efforts and the clear need for relief, the amendment was ultimately defeated.
